Maelstrom takes several seconds to load. During these few seconds,
maelstrom stores, but does not act on, kill signals. This is annoying
when you start maelstrom but forgot something, like "-fullscreen". It
would be nice if maelstrom would immediately, or at least, within a
second, abort loading if it receives the TERM signal.
