Package: referencer
Version: 1.0.2-1
Severity: normal

Hi, if I try to save a library, then referencer uses 100% CPU and begins
consuming RAM at a massive rate. At first, it used 750M of RAM, but
after several seconds it had reached 1.6G.

Steps to reproduce.

1. Run referencer.
2. Add one file. (It downloads info from DOI)
3. Save library.

It then hangs, without any screen redraws. Using strace reveals
something like this:

mmap(NULL, 268439552, PROT_READ|PROT_WRITE, MAP_PRIVATE|MAP_ANONYMOUS,
-1, 0) = 0x2aaac00d7000
munmap(0x2aaab80d6000, 134221824) = 0
mmap(NULL, 536875008, PROT_READ|PROT_WRITE, MAP_PRIVATE|MAP_ANONYMOUS,
-1, 0) = 0x2aaad00d8000
munmap(0x2aaac00d7000, 268439552) = 0
mmap(NULL, 1073745920, PROT_READ|PROT_WRITE, MAP_PRIVATE|MAP_ANONYMOUS,
-1, 0) = 0x2aaaf00d9000
munmap(0x2aaad00d8000, 536875008) = 0
mmap(NULL, 2147487744, PROT_READ|PROT_WRITE, MAP_PRIVATE|MAP_ANONYMOUS,
-1, 0) = 0x2aab300da000
munmap(0x2aaaf00d9000, 1073745920) = 0
+++ killed by SIGKILL +++
Process 17400 detached

Hopefully that indicates the problem.
