Package: sysklogd
Version: 1.4.1-2
Severity: normal

mark.* is correctly divertable to a file on the local system, but if
syslog messages are forwarded to a different system via:

*.*;auth.notice;cron.notice @loghost

where loghost has been defined in the /etc/hosts file, then the mark
messages no longer belong to the mark facility when they arrive, and
cannot be sorted. The receiving system in this case is running
Solaris 8, but that shouldn't be a factor (it correctly handles its
own mark.debug entries).

I also noticed that fewer mark entries are forwarded to @loghost than
are marked in the local file on the Linux system in question.
