Package: gimp
Version: 2.4.0~rc2-1
Severity: normal
I have a HP LaserJet 4600 at work that I've configured my workstation to
use successfully in color the hp-setup utility. However, when I tried
to setup gimp to use this printer, I'm guessing it is finding the wrong
driver or PPD because it insists on making the color photo black and
white. The only was I can get around this is the choose Adobe,
Postscript 2, and the setup the PPD. In this case I'm using:
/usr/share/ppd/postscript/linuxprinting.org/HP/hp_color_LaserJet_4600.ppd.gz
from the linuxprinting.org-ppds package. Of course gimp doesn't accept
the gzip'ed ppd, I have to uncompress it.

You probably want to remove the gimp-print package. I'm probably going to
put a note in NEWS.Debian about it, or make gimp conflict with gimp-print.
