Urgh; never ever install RPM on your system, only install .deb packages
from Debian, and Debian alone, or be prepared to fix the issues you
will introduce! Never install RPMs because the file handled by "rpm"
are unknown to dpkg and will basically break your system.

"symbol lookup error" are very rare under Debian and most of the time
are caused by local libraries, as in your case:
> libgnomeui-2.so.0 => /usr/local/lib/libgnomeui-2.so.0 (0xb79f9000)
> libglade-2.0.so.0 => /usr/local/lib/libglade-2.0.so.0 (0xb79c7000)
I can't tell where you got these libraries from, but these are
certainly a problem; if you got any library from RPM packages, you'd
better check your whole system; you can do so with debsums as a
started.
(Closing this bug.)
