Package: debian-installer
Severity: normal

I have a system with an hpt374 controller which detects disks hde hdg hdk while
installing, however after installation hdk is not created under /dev and I have
to invoke MAKEDEV hdk manually (hde and hdg are created, though)
MAKEDEV'ing automatically devices detected during debian-installer would be
fine

thanks,
filippo

Bugs on this issue have already been filed [1].
As your bug report adds no new information, I am closing it.
Thanks for reporting though.
