Subject: fai: nfs-user-server bug forces root squash and breaks ssh pub
key access in fai
Severity: important
*** Please type your report below this line ***
It appears that nfs-user-server 2.2beta47-20sarge2 is broken
with regards to no_root_squash option by not honouring it aparently.
I did switch to nfs-kernel-server and everything was fine, but kernel
did complain about missing *'s and async/sync's. Perhaps the user ver
was expecting more and just not complaining, I dont know unless I
test it further.
As for the problem, if root gets squashed, it becomes unable to read
the fai-setup created /root/.ssh/id_dsa.pub keys for logserv login
when doing a pxeboot install.
Hope that helps a few of you that may have ran into this problem.

This is fixed in FAI 3.2, since it now depends only on nfs-kernel-server.
