Package: libmm11
Version: 1.1.3-6.3
Severity: normal
Hi,
on my Alpha machine, after updating systems at around Jan 5, apache
failed to start with a message
PHP Fatal error: Unable to start session mm module in Unknown on line 0
Downgrading to 1.1.3-6.2 fixed the problem.
I've searched bts a bit and felt that my problem might be the
same as #282787 etc. but I'm not sure.
One possible problem is that my Alpha machine still uses
kernel 2.2.25 because system failed to boot with kerenl 2.4
or 2.6 series.
Regards, '05/01/07

This bug was an issue that affected only users who installed with
version 1.1.3-6.2 - versions prior or subsequent to that should all be
using the same mechanism. It is unfortunate but given that .2 behaves
differently to other versions there is no way to keep everyone happy.
