This version of mpg321 has been configured with the libao default as its
default
libao output device.
$ mpg321 foo.mp3
Creating link /home/premchai21/.kde/socket-drache.
can't create mcop directory
$ cat /etc/libao.conf
default_driver=alsa09
$ mpg321 -o alsa09 foo.mp3
[functions correctly]
It looks like it's trying to connect to aRts or something, but that's
not where it's supposed to be sending its audio output, and it didn't
try to do that previously. It looks like the defaulting behavior is
slightly broken somewhere.
