Package: gimp
Version: 2.4.2-1
Severity: important

1.) The print dialog does not present avaliable printers (remote printer via
lpd /etc/printcap). There is no obvious way to add a printer manually.

2.) The printing dialog "print into file" remembers the file name of the last
file printed but not the directory. It should remember either both or none.

GtkPrint gets its printer information from CUPS. If you still want the
old behavior, you can install gimp-gutenprint to get the gutenprint
plugin. I cannot reproduce the second issue.
