Package: udftools
Version: 1.0.0b3-12
Severity: important

I have a 4.3 gb tarfile (-rw-r----- 1 backuppc backuppc 4300000000 May 7
18:17 freedom.1.tar.raw.aa) I want to write to DVD-Ram but interestingly I
always get "file size limit exceeded" after about 1 GB (-rw-r----- 1 root
root 1073741824 May 7 18:44 freedom.1.tar.raw.aa). Since I'm not aware of any
filesize limits of UDF I wander if that's a bug in the package.

dmesg has no errors to report:
pktcdvd: writer pktcdvd0 mapped to hda
pktcdvd: write speed 4155kB/s
pktcdvd: 4473406kB available on disc
UDF-fs INFO UDF 0.9.8.1 (2004/29/09) Mounting volume 'LinuxUDF', timestamp

I've just verified that the udftools package is built with big file
support. I am not sure what exactly causes your problem, but I doubt it has
to do with the udftools package. I will be uploading a new version of the
package this weekend - please try it out and re-open this bug (or file
another bug against any more appropriate package) if your problem persists.

Cheers,

  Richard
