I have a directory of images, some of them large, that I'm using the
GLSlideshow on. Every so often, I return to my machine to find the
harddrive thrashing, a black screen, and once I finally log in, I find
xscreensaver-getimage using up all the memory. Here are two examples
from ps, one maybe 15 minutes ago, and another that just happened while
I was previewing screensavers just now:
