Crashes.
Crashed once while downloading from an ftp site.
Crashed a couple of times trying to open the g page from the pool
directory at ftp.debian.org.
After that i gave up and compiled it myself. Works fine.
No error messages after crashing. Using a dialup connection.

i've never managed to crash links while downloading from ftp sites.
could you please give an example to reproduce it should it still be the
case and then reopen the bug.
