Hi!
I have been analyzing packages for the piuparts test, and have
observed that ~8 packages fail the piuparts because asterisk
doesn't purge the some files.
The gzipped log of the piuparts run for asterisk is
attached. The problem is that the process
Install Stable asterisk -> upgrade to sid -> purge
seems to let the following files remain unremoved:
/etc/asterisk owned by: asterisk-config, asterisk
/etc/asterisk/modem.conf owned by: asterisk-config
/etc/logrotate.d/asterisk owned by: asterisk
/etc/shadow not owned
/etc/shadow- not owned
/var/log/apt/term.log not owned
Please consider fixing this bug, as it is a Lenny release
recommendation [1].
Thanks.
Kumar

This should be fixed; I haven't tested though.
Feel free to reopen the bug if found on the next run.
seems to let the following files remain unremoved:
/etc/asterisk owned by: asterisk-config, asterisk
This is because modem.conf still existed.
/etc/asterisk/modem.conf owned by: asterisk-config
/etc/logrotate.d/asterisk owned by: asterisk
These were fixed on 1:1.4.16.2~dfsg-1.
/etc/shadow not owned
/etc/shadow- not owned
/var/log/apt/term.log not owned
These are false positives.
Thanks,
Faidon
