We now have ghc6 in the armel port [1] so debian/control's
Build-Depends clauses:
ghc6 (>= 6.6.1) [alpha amd64 arm hppa i386 ia64 kfreebsd-i386 m68k
mips mipsel powerpc ppc64 s390 sparc], ghc6 (<< 6.6.1+) [alpha amd64
arm hppa i386 ia64 kfreebsd-i386 m68k mips mipsel powerpc ppc64 s390
sparc]
should include "armel" in that list if the version check is important.
Actually, it gets ghs6 anyway on armel because, even though ghc6 is
not explicitly depended on, when it installs two of the build
dependencies, it goes:
Note, selecting ghc6 instead of libghc6-base-dev
Note, selecting ghc6-prof instead of libghc6-base-prof
