On an Etch system, I try to index a samba share.
I use this option :
Server file://///server/share/ file:///path/to/share/

The indexer record URL of this form :
file:///server/share/...

I can't have more than 3 "/" in the URL...

It is the only way to have both IE and Mozilla browsers to access an UNC file 
share in Windows.

IE work with file://server/share but Moz can just handle local files with 
that.
