Package: gpe-edit
Severity: minor
Why not include gpe-* packages in section embedded ? The mainteners of
opie packages do it in this way.
I think this could be more logic.
PS : I only send bug report for this package but I think this affect all
package named "gpe-*".

I'm taking over maintenance of gpe-edit from Phil Blundell and I also
maintain (or co-maintain) the other GPE packages in Debian.
Some of these packages are "Section: embedded" but this is only done
when it is unwise to use the package on a non-embedded system - i.e.
where the package conflicts with basic parts of GNOME or KDE.
The majority of GPE can be used on normal systems and there are many
systems where low resources and other requirements mean that a full
desktop like GNOME cannot be installed.
gedit is getting to be a large application - it makes sense to have a
very small, very fast, GUI text editor that takes up very few resources
alongside console editors.
