I have a very strange phenomena here. It looks like check_tcp has a boundary
problem, being called as check_pop.

If a server answers with this string:
+OK <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

it get's a timeout.

If the string is slightly longer, example:
+OK <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

it is always successfull.

Any ideas?

I'm closing the bug, since it seems fixed by upsptream long time ago. Feel
free to open the bug again, if there is anything left.

With kind regards, Jan.
