Package: mc
Version: 1:4.6.1-1
Severity: wishlist

How much trouble would it be to allow backgrounding of
delete/copy/move/... operations? It's really tiresome to wait for
the delete dialog box to disappear, especially when it makes me
think that the screen I/O consumes a lot of the time.

Thanks for consideration!

Hey,
actually this feature should be already implemented in mc..
I'll close this bugreport since it works for me with the newest version in
unstable.
Please reopen & retitle this report (or open another one) if this doesn't
work for you.

Thanks in advance
Greetings
Winnie
