The architecture used to be any, but it's now everything except ia64.
Guile doesn't support ia64 at the moment.

Hi,
according to my information, guile-1.8 is not in the archive for
ia64, so I do not think that this bug is valid.
If you want to specify that guile-1.8 cannot be built for certain
architectures, you would have to do that in the debian/control file.
Thus I am closing this bug.
