The titlebars of my windows show only empty boxes where text
characters should be. This occurs regardless of which theme from the
sawfish package I use. Some of the themes from sawfish-themes do
display the characters in the titlebar, but even in those cases the
tooltips come up with empty boxes.
The problem has been around for at least a month; I don't recall now
what triggered it.
Only the following themes (all from sawfish-themes) show proper
characters:
