running dreamchess locks up my X server hard. It can't be switched from
with Alt-Ctl-F* or killed with Alt-Ctl-Backspace. Logging in via ssh
and killing the dreamchess and dreamer processes restores complete
normalcy.
I can run gnubik OK so I know OpenGL works on this machine.
Let me know what other info might be helpful ...

The original reporter of the bug is unreachable (his mail-address
goes /dev/null as the only server assigned to that domain is down) and
we did not hear anything from him for 3 month now.
I will close the bug now, in the hope it is fixed by the new versions
of dreamchess/xserver-xorg/xserver-xorg-video-ati. If someone can
reproduce it with the recent versions, please reopen.
