Hi,

Your package is failing to build with the following error
cc1: error: unrecognized command line option "-mabi=altivec"

The description is rather vague:
Implementation of the "SPE Runtime Management Library" for the Cell
Broadband Engine

You might want to mention something about PS3 or something.

This package only seems to be for powerpc. Please make sure that
building doesn't get as far as it does now on unsupported arches.

This package is arch:powerpc and builds fine on powerpc. Building it on
other architectures is pointless. This is not a bug, thus closing it.

SPE is not limited to PS3, but is also present on IBM Blades. Do you
want me to add that sentence? Patches are welcome, I agree that we
might be a bit more verbose.

Please ask the James, Lamont, or Adam to include it in
Packages-arch-specific[1]. The BTS is the wrong place to ask, since
maintainers cannot do anything about P-a-s.

Thanks,
