Package: icedove
Version: 2.0.0.9-3
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
icedove (and iceweasel) crashed. Any of them would start again. I decided to
reboot.
After a reboot, /home filesystem was corrupted. Attached fsck report. fsck
fixed a lot of
bad things that I don't know about.
After doing a fsck manually I was able to recover my system.
Loging in again, I cannot start icedove, because
~/.mozilla-thunderbird directory became a pipe:
ls -dl ~/.mozilla-thunderbird
prwSr----- 1 2254054345 2382335272 0 sep 25 1983
/home/catherine/.mozilla-thunderbird
iceweaseal started, ~/.mozilla was not affected by the same "pipe" error, but
all my
preferences, bookmarks, ... were lost.
Best regards,
CB

Closing this bug as its unlikely that this was caused by icedove code
itself. most likely something else intermediate. If you can reproduce
this in any way, feel free to reopen.
