Package: adept-manager
Version: 2.1.2
Severity: minor

Adept uses "Manage Packages" as GenericName. The issue is simply that
this isn't a *name* :) This makes the Adept menu entry look bad in the default
format of K Menu, reading "Adept Manager Manage Packages". I personally think
that the default format is strange anyway, but "Adept Manager Package Manager"
would already be less irritating.

BTW, you could use a bit of plagia on synaptic's synaptic.desktop, which
has it right: "Package Manager", as for KPackage. synaptic.desktop
includes a lot more translations than adept_manager.desktop. At least
GenericName[fr]=Gestionnaire de paquets
is a good translation and should be copied to adept_manager.desktop.

And...thanks for Adept. I'm starting to ponder which one to use
between Adept and Synaptic :)

The adept package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/464340 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
