Package: userlink-source
Version: 1:0.99a-1
Severity: normal

The debian/rules file does not have a "kdist" target, causing any use of
"make-kpkg modules" to fail in building the module.

$ cd /usr/src/kernel-source-2.2.17
$ make-kpkg --revision 2.2.17+1 --flavour livemetro --bzimage --rootcmd sudo
[ normal compile/packaging of kernel ]
$ sudo make-kpkg --flavour livemetro --bzimage modules
[ other modules compile ]
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/modules/userlink-source'
make[1]: *** No rule to make target `kdist'. Stop.
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/modules/userlink-source'
Module /usr/src/modules/userlink-source failed.

A trivial fix would be to make the kdist rule depend on the kdist_image
rule, prefferably with an echo noting that it isn't fully implemented.

The userlink-source package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/328804 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
Barry deFreese
