Package: pwm
Version: 1.0.20010309-10
Severity: normal

The pwm menu-method can generate multiple menus with the same name, e.g.

        ...
        menu "KDE", "KDE" {
                entry "KNode", "exec",  "/usr/bin/knode"
                ...
        }
        ...
        menu "KDE", "KDE" {
                entry "KControl", "exec",  "/usr/bin/kcontrol"
                ...
        }
        ...

This occurs when I turn on menu-hint support in the menu.h file. One of
these menus is designed for all KDE net apps, the other for all KDE
system apps.

However, when pwm comes to display these menus, the prior menu entry is
chosen on both occasions.

I don't know how other WMs handle such things, window manager seems to
manage somehow. I think the easiest solution would be hacking on the
menu-method (I think I'll attempt this in the future when I have some
spare time, I'll append to the bug to let people know).

The pwm package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/422948 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
