The second part of the error message "File exists" is confusing, since
the doesn't seem to exist (but maybe existed at the time of the error).
The error is very unclear. Especially on a freshly installed system, you
wouldn't expect errors.

The exim package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.

this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.
