Package: gaim
Version: 0.80-3

hi there,

gaim never seems to automatically set the idle or away status for jabber
accounts.

i realise the idle status is protocol dependant (and may be set by the
server) but this means the away message never gets set.

maybe it is a good idea for gaim to set idle on jabber accounts after, say,
5 minutes of inactivity and then that would allow the away message to auto
appear.

how to reproduce:
                  set up a jabber account
set up a second (aim/yahoo/whatever) account to test
set up a secondary test accounts
(or use your own account with the help of
friends for the last 3 steps)
                  "set away on idle"
log in to them all and wait for the idle messages to
appear
expected results:
all accounts should be set idle, and later away...
according
                   to the gaim timer.
actual results:
all are idle, except jabber, which is still available
