After listening for a couple of days to his stream:
http://ic.1980s.fm:80/80s128k.ogg
xmms is eating almost 40% of the memory on my workstation

ps axuw
USER PID %CPU %MEM VSZ RSS TTY STAT START TIME COMMAND
dth 8241 0.4 39.2 854400 803068 ? SLl Jun05 20:26 xmms

Stopping xmms doesn't release the memory, exiting xmms however DOES.
I _think_ this is not how it should be.

The xmms package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/461309 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
