hi.
when the artist/title contains special chars, nothing is shown in the
windowshade mode of the playlist. it would be nice if at least the chars
that can be displayed would be. btw, whatever entry contains the special
char isn't shown in the tag-editor as well (could be the locale
(ja_JP.eucJP); i don't really care for that).

The xmms package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.
For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/461309 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.
