Package: xmms-scrobbler

After closing xmms, it seems that audioscrobbler has hung its shutdown
process:

2005-02-07 21:00:09 [scrobbler.c] sc_cleaner: scrobbler shutting down
2005-02-07 21:00:09 [xmms_scrobbler.c] cleanup: about to lock mutex
2005-02-07 21:00:09 [xmms_scrobbler.c] cleanup: locked mutex
2005-02-07 21:00:09 [xmms_scrobbler.c] cleanup: joining threads

Using strace shows only:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:anthony$ strace -f -p 8313
Process 8317 attached with 3 threads - interrupt to quit
[pid 8313] futex(0xb605fbf8, FUTEX_WAIT, 8316, NULL <unfinished ...>
[pid 8316] read(12, <unfinished ...>
[pid 8317] futex(0xb585fa70, FUTEX_WAIT, 2, NULL

After killing that strace, I get:
2005-02-07 21:03:32 [xmms_scrobbler.c] xs_thread: scrobbler thread: exiting

But it still doesn't exit.

The xmms-scrobbler package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/456754 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
