Package: k3b
Version: 0.11.14-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

K3B opens the CD-writing device in read-only mode, when it should open
it in read-write mode; this is what causes K3B to incorrectly
mis-identify writers as readers in 2.6.8 and up. This is *not* a kernel
bug, this is a K3B, (and aparently cdrtools/dvd+rw-tools) bug as well.
It has been fixed upstream in CVS HEAD afaik, and as the change is
trivial, should be rolled into the Debian package ASAP as it is such a
grave bug.

Joshua T. Corbin

Those bugs aren't presents and/or aren't relevant anymore. =3D> Tested on
current version. Since errors are human, don't hesitate to re-open the
bug (in the kde bugs tracking system if the bug isn't related to debian)
if I'am wrong. But, please test it carrefully, as I did.

Thanks
