A colleague recently sent me a file which was UCS-2 encoded data.
Unfortunately, it got tagged as an MPEG-3 because his mailer uses file(1)
to set the correct Content-Type. This particular file started with a
BOM character (http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~mgk25/unicode.html#ucsutf) U+FEFF,
and this seems to have triggered
0 beshort &0xffe0 MPEG
