The current NOT operator inputs two patterns. Most descriptions of Boolean
logic
say NOT is a unary operator. I feel strongly that a program called 'bool'
should follow such conventions.
'bool's current NOT is more of an "AND NOT". 'man bool' says:
The NOT operator returns true if the left operand is true and the right
operand is false.
Without a unary NOT, users may have difficulty doing things
like "NOT x", "x OR NOT y", "NOT x OR NOT y", etc.

The bool package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.

this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.
