The current libsoundtouch package (version 1.3.0) does not have an
upstream pkg-config file. The debian team has filled that gap by
creating and installing the file "libSoundTouch.pc".
The new upstream release of libsoundtouch (version 1.3.1) however uses
the pkg-config file "soundtouch-1.0.pc". This is a request to patch the
current libsoundtouch package to use (instead of, or in addition to) the
pkg-config file "soundtouch-1.0.pc", as software packages using
libsoundtouch will be searching for that string.
This affects the current audacity (version 1.3.4) (ex: bug 459198) and
probably other packages as it cannot successfully detect libsoundtouch.
