Package: germinate
Version: 0.13
Severity: wishlist

Hi.

When building a derived distribution, it is sometimes the easiest way to
use both the standard debian archive and any number of additional
archives (for example: backports.org or a local package archive). It
would therefor be nice if germinate supported this (or if it already
supports this: documents it sufficiently). For some archives, local file
access (file:/// type URLs or simply full path) might be useful.

Regards,
Sven

This was fixed in germinate 0.44 (but I forgot to close this bug at the
time, sorry):

germinate (0.44) unstable; urgency=low

  * Support multiple archives (LP: #182915). Patch mostly from
Francois-Denis Gonthier, adjusted and extended by me.

file:/// URLs should work fine. I don't remember if there was ever a
time when they didn't, although I suppose it's possible that they didn't
work when germinate was using urllib rather than urllib2, i.e. before
0.16.

Cheers,
