Version: 2.1.3-4
Severity: normal
Hi,
when makeself's first argument, the archive dir doesn't exist,
makeself proceeds with packing the current directory (after dumping a
"directory does not exist" error). It should fail in that case.
Greetings
Marc

Description:
makeself - utility to generate self-extractable archives
Closes: 312089 312099
Changes:
makeself (2.1.3-5) unstable; urgency=low
.
* Added dot-temp-dir patch which should hopefully fix the following problems:
- proper handling of not existing archive dirs. (Closes: #312089)
- doesn't ignore dotfiles creating archive. (Closes: #312099)
Thanks to Marc Haber for spotting them. Both patches sent to upstream.
- we're now using mktemp for $tmpfile.
