Package: installation
Version: 2.11n (Debian 3.0 "woody")

1. The partition type entry field gets filled with seemingly
random, usually inappropriate values. It would be better to
present the actual already-installed partition type number if the
partition is already partitioned; if not, an empty field.

2. It is not possible to set a partition to Type 85, Linux
Extended (presumably ext2), even if the partition is already
installed as ext2. Previously installed (by Debian 2.2 "potato"
partitioning) ext2 partitions are correctly identified, but new
ext2 partitions cannot be installed.

Sorry I'm not using the Debian bug reporting system, but I don't
have Debain Linux fully configured yet. I'm doing this on a SuSE
7.1 box.

The cfdisk-utf8 package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/323769 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
