Package: mrtg

Severity: wishlist

Mrtg lets you set the background color of the web page. However, there seems
to be no way to turn it off. Yes, I can set it to #c6c6c6 and get netscape's
particular color of grey, but this isn't guarenteed to be the color used by
any other browsers. As a web design traditionalist, I am uncomfortable about
forcing any color choice on a viewer of my web page, so I'd like so way to
turn the <body bgcolor=xxxx> that mrtg inserts off.

Also there doesn't seem to be any way to change the background color of the
graph .gif's to anything other than white, either. It would be nice if this
were configurable.

Both of these are basically feature requests.

Hello,
in `man mrtg-reference' there are the options "Colours" and
"Background" that match your request.

This was added in mrtg upstream in version 2.7.0 and thus in Debian in
the above version.

Thanks for the report,
Sandro
