Hi!
I'm not sure if this is related to #299462 - I am not totally sure what
it's about, but setting "Decode Content-Transfer-Encoding when saving"
to YES doesn't solve my problem:
When I go to the packages.d.o page of any package, download the
.orig.tar.gz or .diff.gz from there I end up with the unzipped file on
my harddisk. That way it's not possible to download a package from
packages.d.o and do "dpkg -x foo.dsc" to get the source - which is a
real pain in the ass, if you ask me.
It's easy for me to work around, copy the URL and hand it to wget, but
that's not the way it's meant to be, most propably. This seems to be
related to some recent changes, it worked before without any problems.
It also seems to be related to http only, when I switch to ftp it works,
too - though this is also just a workaround, not all repositories do
offer ftp.
Thanks in advance for looking into this issue. Feel free to merge this
bugreport with #299462 if it is the same.
So long,
Alfie
