Package: moinmoin-common
Version: 1.5.3-1.2etch1
Severity: important

After the upgrade to this package, the following file was owned by root.root:

/usr/share/moin/data/edit-log

and only root could write it. This prevented a MoinMoin user completing a
Save once a Preview was complete using the MoinMoin web-based editor.

Changing the ownership so that the web server can write the file solves the 
problem.

This is the correct behaviour: /usr/share is not for changing content.

Please read the documentation on how to setup a copy for local use.


Closing as this is more a misunderstanding than a bug.
