I'd appreciate it if debootstrap didn't expose the ugly internals of how
it messes with apt's cache. I particularly mean the messages about
retrieving "debootstrap.invalid_dists_sarge_main_binary-i386_Packages"
(and Release). Especially in debian-installer mode. These filenames are
passed right through and shown to the user, who might be understandably
confused or frightended by it seeming to indicate that sarge is somehow
"invalid".
Renaming the files would be one way, mangling the messages another.
