Package: libncursesw5
Version: 5.4-6
Severity: normal

(I hope this is not a duplicate bug report. I skimmed through all the
recently reported ones and could not find a reference to this issue.)

Hello,

yesterday I upgraded my system by cherry picking some packages, and
leaving some others out. The upgrade included ncurses-{base,bin} and
libncurses5{,-dev}, but not libncursesw5{,-dev} (this was not
intentional, but rather, than I missed those two; had I seen them, I
  would've upgraded them too).

What I found out today was that screen wasn't acting properly, missing
a whole column in the left and other oddities. Upgrading libncursesw5
to the new version solved the issue.

This won't normally happen as sid upgrades don't normally happen by
cherry picking, but packages are supposed to have correct dependencies
and other relationships, so if the new ncurses-bases can't effectively
work with the older libncursesw5, perhaps a versioned << conflicts is
  in order, not sure.

  Thanks,
