All these remarks pertain to the templates file and were found while
reviewing the french translation Eric Madesclair ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) is
working on.
By using "__Choices" instead of "_Choices" for the list of languages, the
values there will be splitted into individual strings for each entry. This
makes the translators life considerably easier. See "man po-debconf" for
details.
Please also use "_DefaultChoice" so that translators can make their own
language the default. An example lies in "man po�debconf" again, taken from
my own package "geneweb"
Finally, pleasedo not mark default values for paths as translatable strings.
They obviously aren't. For tis, just remove the leading "_" in the templates
file.
If you fix this bug, please re-run debconf-updatepo before uploading the
package and mail the po/templates.pot file to Eric Madesclair
([EMAIL PROTECTED]) so that he can adapt his French translation.
