Package: system-config-lvm
Version: 1.1.4-1
Severity: grave
Hello,
running system-config-lvm from a terminal (either as a non-privileged
user or using gksudo) opens a system-config-lvm window, a dialog box
making me wait a bit while « Reloading LVM. Please wait. », then
briefly displays what seems to be the program main window, then
crashes and the window disappears.
Here is the output on the console :
/usr/share/system-config-lvm/cylinder_items.py:1032: GtkWarning:
gdk_pixbuf_scale_simple: assertion `dest_width > 0' failed

The program 'system-config-lvm.py' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)'.

(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

thanks
Hello,
after waiting for 10 days, this bug is still unreproducible and nobody
else reported the same or a similar problem.
I'm closing this bug, assuming that the unreproducible error is not a
bug of system-config-lvm.
Best regards,
Philipp
