Package: sun-java6-plugin
Version: 6-00-2
Severity: wishlist
Hi,
It would be useful to have one or more metapackages which depend on
the latest version.
For example, I would like to have a "sun-java-plugin" package which
does nothing but depend on "sun-java6-plugin" right now, and would be
updated when new versions are released.
This would make it easier to always have the latest version installed.
Currently I have to manually select "sun-java6-plugin" and uninstall
"sun-java5-plugin", etc.
Let me know what you think. Thanks.

won't fix this (this could be done in a separate source package, but I don't
think it is worth the work). We do have default packages for default-jre,
default-jdk now, which abstract from the implementation.
