Package: olvwm
Version: 4.4.3.2p1.4-19
Severity: wishlist

Hello,

To make olvwm a selectable option in gdm and kdm, olvwm should
ship /usr/share/xsessions/olvwm.desktop. These .desktop files take 2
minutes to create. Examples of the contents of such files can be found in
the blackbox, afterstep, and wmaker packages.

olwm should do the same (/usr/share/xsessions/olwm.desktop for it, of
course).

Cheers,
Christopher Martin

Looking at this old bug report, there still doesn't seem to be consensus
about .desktop files for window managers. Some WMs added one, some didn't
and policy still doesn't say anything about it. So ol(v)wm will stick to
what they've always done and what is mandated by policy. Closing this bug
report because this is not a bug IMO.

Martin
