Hi,
rsnapshot allows to take bakups in several intervals (daily,
weekly, monthly). This is configured in rsnapshot.conf. The
user has to take care that backups of different intervals take
place in correct order. Isn't there a way to let rsnapshot
decide which actions to take?
E.g. vbackup (8) (part of package faubackup) does a similar
thing but handles all "intervals" in one instance. User has not
to decide when to run which interval.
