Hello,
reproducible every first time you load CLX by ASDF (a full log relative
to dependent.lisp is attached):

This is SBCL 1.0.18.debian, an implementation of ANSI Common Lisp.

=====
The error is not fatal in the sense that you can either ACCEPT or ABORT
and then load again CLX, this time successfully.
However, this error prevents any CL software depending on CLX to be
automatically loaded. Specifically, the first two problems I
encountered are with StumpWM: the latter cannot be automatically
launched at X login nor SBCL/CLX can be used to generate its Info manual
(which is a pity, since CLISP cannot be fully used either in this case
[1]).
Thx, bye,
Gismo / Luca
